A CUHK delegation comprised of Prof Francis Chan, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine; Prof Henry Chan, Assistant Dean (External Affairs); Prof Jun Yu, Director of Research Laboratory of the Institute of Digestive Disease; Prof Siew Ng and Prof Sunny Wong, Professors of the Department of Medicine & Therapeutics, visited Erasmus MC.
The visit aimed to further strengthen the ties between the two medical institutions, which have been closely collaborating ever since the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed on 31 March 2016.

CUHK and Erasmus MC jointly organized a two-day symposium on “Cancer: From Biology to Treatment” in Hong Kong. The conference was officiated by Prof Joseph Sung, Vice-Chancellor and President, CUHK and Prof Ernst Kuipers, Chairman of Board of Executive, Erasmus MC; together with other renowned scholars and leaders from the Netherlands and Hong Kong, they shared their experience in biology and the treatment of cancer.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the CUHK Faculty of Medicine and Erasmus University Medical Center. The MOU looks to further strengthen the ties between the two institutions by promoting cooperation and exchange in research and education.
